Tested formula: SoupleLiss Nanoplasty Brazilian Protein. In this test, the stylist evaluated how the formula performs on thick, porous and frizzy Slavic hair: nourishment, shine, volume reduction and the client's main request - a loose, airy finish without heaviness.
Tested Hair
- Slavic hair type.
- Thick, porous, dry and frizzy hair.
- Large curl pattern.
- Natural color.
- 9 months earlier, the client had a keratin + botox treatment in another salon. She was not satisfied with the result: the hair felt oily and the effect did not last long.
- After that, she actively used a flat iron at home.
Client's Request
Reduce volume, add shine, make the hair easier to care for, provide nourishment and, most importantly, keep a loose lightweight effect without heaviness.
Procedure Process
- The hair was washed with shampoo twice.
- The hair was dried 100% with warm air.
- SoupleLiss Nanoplasty Brazilian Protein was applied.
- The formula was applied in thin sections, keeping 1-1.5 cm away from the scalp.
- Processing time: 30 minutes.
- The formula was rinsed out about 80% with warm water.
- The hair was blow-dried.
- Flat iron temperature: 450 °F. The stylist made 7-9 passes until the formula evaporated, the hair became loose and the result was visually controlled.
- The hair was cooled, rinsed with plenty of water, treated with a hair mask and dried.
About the Formula
- Thick, creamy consistency.
- Feels oily and nourishing.
- No toning effect.
- Easy to apply and distribute.
- Medium product consumption.
- Good absorption: the formula absorbs quickly.
- Pleasant scent, not bitter, comfortable during the procedure.
- Provides good nourishment.
Result
- Nourishment: 80%.
- Shine: 97%.
- Hair feels silky, soft and smooth.
- Nourished, light and loose finish.
- No heaviness and no oily effect.
Stylist's Opinion
The formula spreads easily through the hair. According to the stylist, it is ideal for dense Slavic hair. There are doubts about using it on Asian hair or ethnic hair types.
A lightweight effect without heaviness or an oily finish.
Stylist's Tip
There is one challenging point: evaporating the formula can be difficult, possibly because of the oily nature of the product. It is better to evaporate it slowly. Do not rush through the sections. Work slowly, patiently and with visual control. This product requires an experienced stylist.
Cons
The hair canvas felt just slightly short of perfect: about 3% missing from a mirror-like finish. Overall, the product matches the manufacturer's description and purpose.
